The short choral piece “The Great Blue,” with libretto by Megan and score by Marianna Fillipi, for soprano and piano, will be part of the “Songs from Here” 2024 tour. The program is themed on love, and “The Great Blue” is about our love of nature, using the symbol of the great blue heron to meditate on the larger “great blue” of the ocean, sky, and our sweet blue planet.
